China imported 791,000 tons of steel in June, down 15,000 tons from the previous month, down 36.7 percent year on year; From January to June, the total imported steel was 5.771 million tons, down 21.5% year on year. In June, China’s seamless steel pipe import volume was 0.94 million tons, up 4.44% month on month and down 25.98% year on year. In the first half of the year, the cumulative import of seamless pipe 68,400 tons, flat year-on-year.

In June 2022, China’s net export of seamless steel pipe was 487,600 tons, up 21.32% month-on-month and 80.46% year-on-year; From January to June, China’s net export of seamless steel pipe was 1.913 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 36.00%.
